Ryder Consulting is a Toronto-based consulting firm, specializing in strategic planning and leadership development. President, Janis Ryder, M.Ed. established her consulting practice in 2005 based on a mission “to build organizational effectiveness while building the capacity and potential of leaders and leadership teams within organizations”. Over the last four years, the work of Ryder Consulting has impacted leaders and organizations from across Canada; the USA; the Sudan, Africa; and Nicaragua.

In addition to her own practice, Ms. Ryder has volunteered her services as an executive coach with the Arrow Leadership Executive program and as a facilitator and coach with NextLEVEL Leadership. She is currently a director on the national Board of Women Alive and is an elder at her church, Knox Presbyterian in downtown Toronto. Janis is the proud aunt to 14 very special nieces and nephews; a lover of classical music, travel with friends, and family time on Georgian Bay where she shares a passion for flying with her father…who still flies at the age of 82.
